what is the MCSE training center, and if your looking for information on it couldnt you do a web search on it and find out all the information you needed to know?
Comment #6 Callo (63.176.159.100) - 11/15/08 20:46
I've heard that there MSCE training program for Malaysian that is organized and assisted by their government but I think it is only open for fresh grads and only with limited slots available. That's a very nice title to have it put along with your name, specially these days of computers and the technology.
Comment #7 Jeris (63.176.159.209) - 12/18/08 04:08
How good is the educational system in Malaysia? Are there good curriculum and health courses?
Comment #8 Calvin (63.176.159.104) - 03/03/09 22:19
I have also heard what Callo has said, so I was wondering is this true or not?
Comment #9 Kim Hanna (63.176.159.70) - 05/02/09 19:27
I've heard that this MSCE certification could be taken online.Taking MCSE certification training online will provide you with many benefits. Most importantly, you will be able to view your course work and take your class at any hour of the day, seven days a weekFeature Articles, where you are able to fit it into your busy schedule specially created for working and still studying fellows. So I don't think there a problem about in any country you're from as long as there is a good internet service it'll be possible.
Comment #10 Andanar Martin (63.176.159.224) - 05/11/09 12:22
Yeah so can take classes online via watching recorded Microsoft live meeting video and you could also take the exams online. So for Waleed, dude, you don't need to search for a good MSCE accredited institution in your country cause everything could be done with a good internet connection, conditioned brains, food, peaceful environment, and no visitors allowed on class time especially in the examination periods. What Certification are you aiming at lad?
Comment #11 Minnie (63.176.159.77) - 05/31/09 21:41
The MCSE certification is appropriate for systems engineers, technical support engineers, systems analysts, network analysts and technical consultants. There are no specific prerequisites for the MCSE certification, although Microsoft says: "candidates should also have at least one year of experience in implementing and administering a network operating system, implementing and administering a client operating system, and designing a network infrastructure."To achieve the MCSE certification, a candidate must pass seven exams five of which are core exams and the remaining two are elective exams. Your hard work will be rewarded though; MCSE is one the hottest career tickets you can buy. Professionals with the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) on Windows 2000 credential reported an annual salary of $59, 400 compared to 2002's average salary of $53, 700 (Microsoft Certified Professional Magazine).

I think education in Malaysia is good. Education in Malaysia may be obtained from government-sponsored schools, private schools, or through homeschooling. The education system is highly centralised, particularly for primary and secondary schools, with state and local governments having little say in the curriculum or other major aspects of education. As in other Asian countries such as Singapore and China, standardised tests are a common feature, contributing to the high numbers of school dropouts.
I am just wondering, why study in Malaysia or in any foreign country when you can actually study in your own country?
Comment #15 pale_o (63.176.159.24) - 07/25/09 05:35
Good question Fred, why should someone ask for information that can be easily accessed from the net? We all do that anyway..You can easily get to know how the education standards are in Malaysia. Have you tried looking at the country's Ministry of Education website or asked people you might know?
There should be a host of these institutes. I also suppose you need some sort of entry examination

What Minnie has shared is good information. The MCSE seems to be a really cool credential. However, I am sitting here and trying to picture the case now because what she is talking about dates to seven years back.Does this certification still command enough in the computer industry? This is in the phase of an industry that has undergone many upheavals.
Is it offered worldwide?
Comment #17 Jane (63.176.159.27) - 09/10/09 00:51
I have to agree that Minnie had posted a good link, but dated year back i think seven years.. if i would be interested in that matter i think i would search for the matter myself rather than to wait here in this forum for a reply post.. if you happen to come up with new and fresher info then it would be much better if you kindly posted them here.. :)

This might help if you looking for schools and institutions offering those course in MalaysiaYou could always go to the microsoft website for the exact details about you inquiry. Usually the registration, training, exam and certification would cost you some cash. Some training will require you pay up to $5, 000 or maybe more. And you also be prepared mentally so you'll absorb all the information in the trainings cause if you would fail the exams then sorry for you.

The MCSE exams? Well, gents, I know all about them! The Malaysian educational system, because someone asked, is a very high level system that demands quality from its students. It is a high level cedrtification system that requires excellent preparation and expertise in your academic disciplne.Cheers!
Comment #22 Chiqui (63.176.159.108) - 12/17/09 22:30
I heard that you can acquire mcse certification via the internet. But anyway, it is also much better if you do enroll on institutions right? There are certainly lots of good schools out there in Malaysia. Just like in any other parts of the globe. You just have to make sure that you are enrolled to those schools that are accredited.
Have a wonderful day and good luck on your studies.
Comment #23 J.P. Jaucian (63.176.159.204) - 01/02/10 22:03
For me passing such high level of certification - MCSE from Microsoft, does not require its examiners to come from the most reputable schools on earth. There are those coming from such schools and universities that fail while there are also those who came from community colleges who passes and even aces the exams. No matter what you educational background is, what will matter most is how bad you want to pass the certification.

I couldn't agree more to JP's statement.
