I would like to study cosmetic medicine in Malaysia. It may take a few years to finish. Would it be better for me to buy a property or just go for monthly rentals for my lodging needs. How much would cost me for a bachelors place? Please help.

I don't believe that there is a one stop solution for real estate industry. It's one of the most complicated industries out there. Even companies offering what this guy is offering have some difficulties in some matters regarding legalities and other stuffs

Popular buying locations in Malaysia As a country made up of thirteen different states and three different territories, Malaysia is one of the most diverse places in South East Asia. The country is split geographically into two parts – Peninsular Malaysia and Malaysian Borneo – and separated by the South China Sea .The tropical climate is due to the country’s close location to the equator.
The capital, Kuala Lumpur, is the focus of the property market in Malaysia, and it retains a good deal of British influence from its days as a colonial outpost. The city has come on to the world stage in recent years, having hosted sporting and cultural events that brought the world’s media spotlight. The development of KL, as it is known, into a world-leading city has been helped by the building of the Petronas Towers, for a time the tallest buildings in the world.

I thought this forum was about real estate in Malaysia? Then what business does someone have talkins and Mexico and the USA? I do agree there can be no kind of solution to issues dealing with the real estate industry. That is just a catch phrase many companies, that in the end turn up to be dubious, normally use.
If you can avoid it, just use third parties as a last resort. An understanding of the real estate in Malaysia is key!

In reply to the first post, unless the Malaysian government has discouraged some nationals of a given country the privilege of purchasing property(in which case I do not think is true), then you need to overcome the legal barriers that may exist in the way of getting the property you desire. Find out which documents you need to carry out any transactions and on what residence basis you can do so.

Hi there Eliza, so you are interested in buying a property in Malaysia, right? And you want some advice on the best place to buy a property. Hmmmm... All I can say is that you should ask yourself on where you would want to have a property, do you want some sort of vacation house or a business establishment. Then you can determine the best location for your property. Ciao.
Comment #22 Sammy (109.111.97.47) - 03/05/10 22:01
That is a nice suggestion Chico and I must say that Malaysia is one of the best place to relocate. And since buying a property needs lots of prioritization. If I were to buy a home I would want it near everything, like I want my home near a school, hospital, and markets, also some malls. But anyway, it all depends on what we prefer, right? Have a great day guys.
