Anyone living or consider living in Malaysia? Malaysia have MM2H Malaysia My Second Home) program which is very attractive for foreigners wanting to live in Malaysia. It offers 10 year multiple entry visa with fixed deposit of $41, 000 (over 50 years old) first year and maintain $15, 000 deposit 2nd year on. The visa can be easily renewed as long as you maintain $15k in the bank. You can also buy 2 properties, import personal vehicle free of duty and tax. Malaysia offers much safer and superior infrastructure with low cost of living.
If anyone have experience living in Malaysia, I would like to hear it. Is everything as easy and good as they make it out to be. For example, how easy is it to import a car under MM2H program. How is the corruption? How easy it is to withdraw fund if you decide the place is not for you..etc.
My email is mikekim1219@gmail.com
Thanks in advance.
Mike

What is the culture like here, and how about the cost of living? I also would like to know if there are jobs available here, and if so, what jobs are in high demand?
