have retired at 55. want to retire to Malaysia. single. straight. How much capital is needed for comfortable retirement? Do not intend to buy a house. just living cost stats. Have the life insurance companies done any research on this?

please tell me how muchone needs to reire in malaysia. i want to work in a university to teach iron and steel making- i am consultant engineer with35 years experience and phd and engineering degree from germany.

it really depends on each person. as a rough guide comfortable with a wife and two children, you need to look about RM4500 to RM5000.RM is Malaysian Ringgit, our national currency
